200L Solar Thermal Indirect Pressurized Glass Tube Heat Pipe Solar Water Heater for Heating
Working Principle
The vacuum tube absorb the solar ray and conduct the heat to heat-pipe (inside) by the aluminum fin.
And the heat-pipe is connected with the copper connector which in the water tank.
So there exists heat exchanging between the heat- pipe and copper connector.
When the heat exchanging goes on, the water in the tank will be heated and become hot water.

The Heat pipe - Evacuated tube
A heat pipe works as a solar energy absorber inside the evacuated tube and transfers the absorbed solar energy to a working vaporizable fluid.
When the heat pipe reaches 30ºC, the fluid will vaporize.
This vapor rapidly rises to the top of the heat pipe transferring heat to the condenser.
As the heat is lost at the condenser, the vapor condenses to form a liquid and returns to the bottom of the heat pipe.
Then the evaporating-condensing cycle process starts again.

A further, very important factor in selecting your evacuated tube collector is the quality of the internal heat-transfer-fin as this is often overlooked and generally very thin or poorly formed to cut costs, or is even 2 or 4 separate pieces.
All this will ultimately reduce the efficiency of your collector, and as such your electricity saving.
